The Sanibel Captive Optimist Club seeks qualified candidates to apply for our Optimist Scholarships when they are available. Please complete the application form and return it with a copy of your school grade transcript, plus a list of scholarships awarded to you, to the address listed on the guidelines. You also should fill out the Scholarship Questionnaire and return it with the application. You also may include any additional information, letters of recommendation, etc., that may help support your application. You will be contacted regarding your application, and a time will be arranged for a personal interview conducted by the Optimist Scholarship Selection Committee.

Nursing Schools Almanac is proud to announce our inaugural Aspiring Nurse Scholarship. We will award a $1,000 scholarship to an aspiring nurse who best demonstrates:
Students who attend UF full-time and who graduated from one of the public high schools in Lee County, Fla., within the top 15 percent of their class. One scholarship per year is awarded to a student from each high school. Recommendations are required from the high school's principal or guidance counselor. The scholarship may be renewed for up to four years if the recipient maintains a 3.0 or higher undergraduate GPA. Award amount is $3,000 made in two installments each academic year.
